The outdoor market accepts vouchers provided by the Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program (FNMP) and will soon be accepting EBT cards.  Local farmers offer a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables.  Learn fun new ways to eat healthier, including how to fit more fruits and vegetables into your diet with Cornell University Cooperative Extension’s Eat Smart New York.  Get quick, easy, and tasty recipes.  Explore healthier beverage options.  Get ideas that will help you save money on food and get fit in 30 minutes of physical activities each and every day.


The Dunkirk Farmer’s Market is managed by the Dunkirk Local Development Corporation in partnership with the Chautauqua County Health Network’s Creating Health Places Initiative, funded by the New York State Department of Health.

The City of Dunkirk, in order to provide an opportunity to the public to enhance the character of our community, has created a Community Garden Program whereby interested City individuals and groups are allowed to utilize various parcels of City property to establish and to maintain community gardens.
