RFQ for Legal Assistance – Vacant Property Initiative

With the support of Mayor Rosas, the City of Dunkirk Planning and Development Department has secured grant funding from the New York Attorney General’s Office to assist with the prevention and remediation of vacant/zombie properties. The department is seeking legal assistance on a temporary basis to contribute to this vacant/zombie property initiative. Hired legal assistance will work with City staff to identify and resolve legal issues around troublesome vacant/zombie properties and move them towards productive use or demolition. Firms/attorneys engaged under this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) are responsible to and will report directly to the City’s Vacant Property Task Force. Contract will be completed by January 31, 2019. For more information and to obtain a copy of the RFQ, please contact Community Development Planner Matthew Bourke by email at mbourke@cityofdunkirk.com or by phone at 716-366-9878.
