FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Dunkirk Boardwalk Market Announces Final Tenant for 2009  

Dunkirk, NY - Tuesday, April 21, 2009

The City of Dunkirk is pleased to announce that the Dunkirk Boardwalk Market will be opening at full capacity this summer season.  Soon to be occupying the space at 10 Central Ave will be Tower Gifts and Treasured Dolls of Fredonia NY.

Tower Gifts and Treasured Dolls is owned and operated by Lynn Napieralski of Fredonia NY.  The Dunkirk Boardwalk location will be the 2^nd store operated by Lynn, the other being located at 44 Temple St in Fredonia.  In business for over seven years this store will feature the same high quality dolls, purses and children's items Tower Gifts customers have come to expect in addition to nautically themed items and other gift ideas

Mayor Frey commented that "This final announcement rounds out what should be a fantastic product offering for all Boardwalk patrons.  The Market anchored by several returning  regional icons such as Merritt Winery, Eldeez Tobacco, Yummy's Lakeside Ice Cream and Waters Edge Gifts will definitely be complemented by our new shops for 2009.  The Dunkirk Boardwalk Market will truly be a destination in itself for travelers to enjoy some top flight shopping, a cold beverage, a slice of pizza, or a gourmet ice cream in a first class facility.  I'm looking forward to them all opening in the upcoming weeks."

All tenants were selected during an application process that began several months ago.  This process included several outstanding applications, and is concluded with this announcement.
