The City of Dunkirk Youth & Recreation Department provides recreational, educational, and cultural activities for the adults and youth.  On this page, you will find information on what we do, including Camp Gross, the City Recreation Center, Adult Recreation Leagues and Youth activities.

City of Dunkirk Youth & Recreation Board

The City of Dunkirk Youth Bureau Board was rejuvenated in 2014.  The Board also felt it should combine with the defunct Recreation Commission.  At the first meeting on March 13, the Youth Bureau Board combined with the Recreation Commission to form the Youth & Recreation Board.  The Youth & Recreation Board meeting monthly to bi-monthly.  Meetings  are generally held on Wednesday evenings at City Hall’s second floor conference room.  The general public is welcomed, and encouraged to attend.
